6 Clubs And Bars Near The Beijing Language and Culture University


Studying in China and learning Chinese can sometimes be stressful and demanding. As a student, it’s often good to get a break from books to have some fun.  Most students prefer creating time especially during the weekend to unwind and get in touch with their social sides. The vibrant nightlife around Beijing Language and Culture University is what makes it a darling with many students.

Wudaokou is the paradise of universities in Beijing since most universities are situated there. It has a number of social places mostly frequented by college students; foreign and local. Some of the most popular clubs found here include; Propaganda and Lush.


Propaganda

Situated at the very heart of Wudaokou in the East Gate of Huaqing Jiayuan, Haidian District, Propaganda is one of the hottest night clubs around BLCU. The first floor of the bar is mainly for the party lovers, downstairs for those who want to dance to loud music and the main floor is more of a lounge and is a great place to meet new friends as you enjoy your drinks with soft music in the background.


Lush

Lush is located at Chengfu Rd, Haidian, District Wudaokou area, and is one of the most popular night clubs among college students. The atmosphere is warm and lively and the people friendly. Lush is one place you can know almost everybody and making new friends is very easy. The club serves a wide range of ice cold imported and domestic drinks at affordable prices.


Taku Club

Taku is located at Erli Zhuang (North Fourth Ring Road) 16 Zhixin Lu (just west of the intersection between Zhixin Lu and Zhixin Donglu Haidian District. It is student oriented cavernous and comfortable. It has all you can drink and is a nice place to hang out with friends.


Bla Bla Bar

Nicknamed Bra Bra Bar by the funny college students, Bla Bla Bar is located within the BLCU and is mainly frequented by students. It is a nice place to meet old college friends as you make   new ones. It is much cheaper than the bars outside college and more convenient for new students who are still trying to master the nightlife.


Pure Girl

Located in Sanlitun, Pure Girl is one of those bars where you can throw away your dignity for a while as you swim in your favourite bottle.


Sanlitun Bar Street


Located in Chaoyang District, Sanlitun is the most popular bar streets in Beijing and is the symbol of its nightlife. Over 60% of Beijing’s bars are found here. At this street, you can find bars, restaurants and lounges within a very small radius. The street is frequented by the expat community, foreign travellers, young locals and college students. Some of the famous clubs here include Red Moon Club, Boys & Girls, Swing, Butterfly, No. 52, Kai Club, Lan Kwai Fong and Day Off. Most bars are open 24 hours while others open from the afternoon to the next morning. Drinks available here include homemade and imported wines, soft drinks and cocktails.
